This book is easy to read, organized, and basic. I learned some logical things about sleeping and not sleeping, and why or why not before I had read half the book. I recommend this book to anyone who has trouble sleeping, or cares about someone who does. It will enlighten you.Need help with sleep problems? This is a must read!
The author delivers! The book clearly defines the most common types sleep problems – sleep deprivation (a problem for many of us), insomnia, snoring, and sleep apnea. She discusses what they are, the dangers involved, and offers suggestions about how to deal with them. It also discusses sleep problems for pregnant women, infants, toddlers, and older children. If you or any member of your family is struggling with a sleep problem, this is a must read for you! It could make a difference in your well-being and your longevity.
I got this book because my 15 year old daughter has had a hard time falling asleep, even as a baby. After reading the book I realize that it may be a condition that has is identifiable and could be treated by a medical professional. It is helpful to get a deeper understanding of what is going on. Sleep problems are more than just annoying when they effect how you function during the day and the amount of stress you experience. I am grateful to have come across this book when i did.
