Hooray – Healthy and Genuinely Tasty!
So many so called healthy snack diet books these days rely on boring old low carb ingredients or revolting chemically enhanced sweetners and other nasties. But not so Joan’s delicious snacks. Using a careful balance of good carbs and natural ingredients, she manages to deliver a whole host of hunger banishing snacks that rival and in many instances exceed their store bought equivalents – and with considerably less calories. A simple way to guilt free snacking – and the best chicken nuggets, onion rings and french fries EVER!

Great Lite Sancks tell it All!!
It is a real treat to find a recipe book with lite snacks. Snacks are the downfall of every dieter is our house.

I made the corn chips and boy were they good. I can’t wait to make the Apples in a Crock pot. My husband loves backed Apples and these will taste wonderful and be good for him instead of Apple Pie which is one of his favorites.

I’m also going to make the Magnificent Brownies for the grandchildren. They sound divine and also better for them than regular brownies. They should learn how to eat better.

I highly recommend this book for good and good for you recipes. Now we can snack and not feel guilty.

Delicious & Healthy Snacks!
I have two kids and I am very particular on what they eat. Store bought processed food is a big no-no in our home. That’s the reason why I picked up this book.

There are over 20 quick and easy snack recipes including chips, dips, snack bars and smoothies. The instructions are well written and simple to follow. Details relating to nutritional content for each recipe are included. This gives the reader the ability to choose the best recipes according to their health status.

There is also a working TOC which is very important in cookbooks and instructional manuals.

I plan on checking out the rest of the books in the series.
