What people are saying:
A must-read!
I finished this book several days ago and haven’t stopped thinking about it! I enjoy the whole celebrity theme in romance novels, especially when the couple meets before making it big. I absolutely loved Emma and I have to admit I always have a hard time liking the h. But Emma’s independent and determined to live her life her way. She’s accountable for her decisions and knows her life will be what she makes it out to be, even if it goes against what everyone else wants for her. How can you not like that? She meets and falls in love with Jackson when he’s still an aspiring actor. They instantly hit it off and are both surprised by how fast their feelings for each other grow.I don’t want to give anything away because I don’t want to ruin the story for you. I highly recommend this book! I was so completely lost in it that I couldn’t do anything but read until I finished it. It’s an emotional roller coaster so be warned this is not a “light” romance novel. You will love Jackson and Emma and won’t want the story to end! Oh! And talk about steamy sex scenes!
I also like the conclusion the book had. It’s so nice to read a book without a cliff hanger since it seems that’s the trend these days. I’m thrilled to have found a new author to follow!
Very sexy contemp romance with a strong heroine & super possessive hero
I read this on the recommendation of the girls in the Amazon forum on jealous/possessive heroes. It worked well for me. Thought that the hero was believably portrayed as an actor. There was a certain Gideon/Eva dynamic in the kind of sick need that the couple has for each other.I really liked the heroine in this one because she stood up for herself and even if she made decisions that were frustrating at the time, it made sense within the context of the book.
I agree with one of the reviewers who said if you liked A Mighty Storm, you’d like this one although the heroine is less frustrating and there is no cheating. Even better, it’s a fully contained story which is so rare these days.
Worth the $3.99 price to me.

Take Me (One Night with Sole Regret) by Olivia Cunning

What they are saying:
The only bad thing
… Was that it ended FAR too soon. I actually yelled, “No!” when I flipped to the next page on my Kindle. I want more of this story. MORE!Take me… HOME!!!
This third installment of the “Sole Regret” Series is the best so far. The quality of this series just keeps getting better and better, mind you, it started out very good but it keeps improving at an unexpected pace.
Olivia Cunning is a master of the Rockstar fantasy, creating the perfect scenarios, characters, dialogues and passions. She certainly has a way with words that never fall flat, bringing to life the fantasies of a rock fan. We’ve come to know all the members of the band “Sole Regret” through the first two stories, but now we get to really meet in depth the vocalist Shade, I mean, Jacob. Like two sides of the same coin, our hero has two names, stage and life. Always hiding behind dark glasses, Shade is “never going to fall, but never hard to catch” like My Darkest Days sings it. So, your average jerk.
Jacob… well, he’s a complete different story, isn’t he?I don’t want to reveal any more about the characters or their story. This novella is just such a treat that everybody deserves to dive in as freshly as possible and thoroughly enjoy it as I have.
My biggest issue with this book is that ended way too soon although the story is not over. The author can do a lot with the premises set here. I would encourage her to keep exploring and write a full book.
This story could go so many ways from the point it finishes… I wonder how everything would develop on the long run for all the parts involved. Yes, this is the intensity of the story, it grips you and doesn’t let go even after you’ve finished reading.
Remarks:
– Engaging characters
– Steaming hot erotic scenes
– Recommended soundtrack by the author: “Angel” & “I don’t wanna miss a thing” by Aerosmith, “Walking on Sunshine” by Katrina and the Waves.Although this is a review of the 3rd book I highly encourage everybody to read the first two books too. Not only they are very affordable, they are incredible good as well.
