Enjoyed it!
I stumbled across this book as I purchased another one. I thought it sounded interesting so I bought it. I guess one of the things I liked most about it was how it captured my interest quickly. It was paced well and kept me entertained throughout. I thought the ending was a little cliche, but other than that I really enjoyed it.Worth the price.
I just finished reading The Spirit of the Moon. A friend had recommended that I read it. I was not familiar with the author, Philip Mitchell, but because it was less than $5, I thought I’d give it a try. I judge a book by whether it keeps my interest and keeps me reading. This book did both and in fact I read it in only two days. The plot is a little unbelievable in places, but it was just fun. If you read for fun and entertainment, I recommend this one.Suspenseful
A must read for anyone interested in romance, suspense or a mysterious book! A real page-turner, you will not want to put the book down! Never a dull moment; you will not be disappointed. A+++!

Powerful story about the healing power of unconditional love
Raine Miller has written a highly passionate tale about married love that does not bore or gets entangled in unnecessary miscommunication. It is a story about trust and love that goes beyond the superficial.Jeremy Graymont is looking to marry. He has lead a sensuous life and feels a little jaded and just a little bored even though he has had a wide variety of life experiences. He visits his friend’s country estate and meets his destiny.
Georgina remembers Jeremy from her brother’s school visits and she likes him instantly, he is kind and thoughtful. Georgina basks in his presence; he is a welcome escape from the loathsome man her father plans for her to marry. Jeremy rescues her from this man’s unwanted advances time and again. In fact, Jeremy becomes so protective and caring he marries Georgina even knowing her secret heartache.
Ms. Miller does an excellent job of detailing both points of views of these characters. Georgina is frightened but brave and she is also vulnerable. Her emotional wounds are considerable yet she allows herself the chance to heal. Jeremy is so trustworthy that Georgina cannot help but lower her defenses.
Jeremy is a little on the rough side yet he curbs his own desires to for Georgina’s sake. Together this couple teaches the other about forgiveness, self acceptance and mostly the healing balm of unconditional love. It is a story that is moving and this couple simply adores each other and is ardently in love.

Now this…THIS was how Fifty Shades of Gray should have been written
I will probably have people throwing stuff at me or hating my comment because they love 50…but doggone it, Naked seriously put that book to shame. This book does not have any repetive scenes and the directive taken with Raine Miller with her characters is amazing. There was no room for doubt on how each character looked, felt…drove me insane with desire (I’m talking about Ethan Blackstone of course). Brynne is not a weakling by any means. Though she has a troubled past, she is strong and has a backbone. I love that as I hate weak females in romance novels. Ethan is demanding and a little overbearing but it works for him. I liked it..a lot. I cannot wait for the next installment to this series. This author really rose above and beyond her other books, and I truly loved the historical romances.Again, Raine…once again you blew me away! I scared my poor children screaming at my Kindle because I am dying for more. Dying, Raine!!!
Get this book, fall in love with Ethan and thank me later when you agree it is fantastic! I will leave this review with one final statement… Christian who?
