Way to Go Tim!
Gotta love Tim and his paranormal stories. They set themselves apart of the mainstream books about vampires and all things that go bump in the night. His ideas are like none other. That is why I will continue to follow him as an author. His latest book “Cowgirls and Vampires” is a great story involving action, adventure, romance and mystery. Not to mention the ending, TIM! How can you leave us like that? We’ll talk about that later. Back to the story. The de !–ion Tim gives about the Wild West is unbelievable. You would think he knows from experience all about how life was back then, and that makes this an even more enjoyable read. His de !–ions really put you in the story, able to picture every rock, mountain, town perfectly in your mind, right down to what the characters are wearing. The story itself is enjoyable too because his creepy crawly characters are not what’s out in the mainstream today. His are a whole different breed just like in his Kiera Hudson series. Tim has given each of his characters a bit of mystery so you are always guessing who the bad guy is or what that person is really about. It completely makes it a page turner. I really hope Tim continues this as a series, especially after the ending. Shame on you for leaving us hanging like that *sad face*. I need to know what happened to Harry! Enjoy.Eekkkkkkk…………Smashing start for a new series!!
Tim O’Rourke has taken his 1st trip out of YA & straight into Hott Damn!! What an incredible adventure!!I will admit I was a little nervous going into this. After following Kiera & crew from the Kiera Hudson series for so long now (8 books so far!!) I wasn’t sure how I would feel about getting involved with a new group of characters. As it turns out I feel GREAT! Sammy is one bad-ass cowgirl & her friends are……….. well their something else!! And Harry, oh Harry *sigh* I feel as though Im cheating on Potter & I can’t seem to help myself. Chapter 23…………just sayin 😉 *blushing/grinning* moving on……..
Without going into the plot & spoiling the fun let me just say this book will screw with your head. I didn’t know if I was comin or goin. As per usual O’Rourke style lots of action, blood, gore (I was actually cringing at some parts…..just gross) & surprises around every corner. And the last chapter…UGH pulling my hair out here!! This new series has great potential & I for one CANNOT WAIT to see where he goes from here!! Im sure I will love it. I dont think he could write a bad book if he tried at this point. Smashing start for a new series!!

What People Are Saying:
Even better than the first!
My only complaint about Dante’s story was not enough insight in to his POV. Love that Damien’s story was written in alternating POV and that we get to see him struggle with his (poor) decisions. He is even hotter than his brother, and that’s saying something. Fabulous book! I am looking forward to seeing what fresh hell Delilah is going to put Spencer through!Come on 2013
Read Broken Hart today and was so happy to find Shattered Hart was available to read. I can’t wait until half a hart comes out. Loved the characters and the roller coasters they ride.HOT HOT HOT!
This book was seriously HOT! As much as I loved the first book (Broken Hart), I was equally impressed with this one. This book is full of angst, love, heartbreak and super steamy sex! I loved how Ella Fox basically started over with the first book but from Brooke & Damien’s POV. Also some new parts were in book 2 that were not in book 1 which was great! I am so excited to read the third book…come on 2013!!

What they are saying (on Amazon.com)
Don’t skip this one!!!
WOW! I went into this book with high hopes, and I am happy to say that it certainly didn’t disappoint! My only complaint is that I SO wish it were longer. Luckily, there are still a lot of unturned stones and the epilogue reveales so much more to be told….which leads me to believe that there are future books coming (yay!!). Also, I LOVED the alternating point-of-views. I really think it added to the story, and I loved hearing what each character was thinking!Who can resist a book with a sexy bad boy (yumm) and a sexy, smart good-guy (oh, yes!). Not me! Olivia has fallen for both of the twin brothers and throughout the book, I couldn’t decide if I were rooting Team Cash or Team Nash. I understand why Olivia was so torn about having feelings for the both of them. And Olivia? She’s great! I found myself laughing at/with her character many times. Oh, and it should also be mentioned that the s*x scenes were absolutely super HOT!
I think I’ve just started a new relationship with the author, M. Leighton! I’ll be keeping my eye out for future reads for sure!
Holy hotness!
I will just be honest and say that I might have licked my computer screen a few times when looking at the cover. Kidding. Or am I? 🙂Down to You was a perfect book– it had two hot guys, one feisty girl and a plot twist that snapped my head back. I love those kinds of books.
I honestly can’t say much because I don’t want to reveal anything. However, if you like witty dialogue, sexy men, funny, independent women as the main character and just an all-around great book, then you should pick this one up right now.
It will make you laugh, it will make you hold your breath, it will make you root for Olivia. And Cash. And Nash. And then it will twist you inside out because you know that she can’t have both.
This is my new favorite M. Leighton book. It has all the makings for another New York Times Bestseller!

This review is from: On Dublin Street (Kindle Edition)
I’ve read all of Ms. Young’s YA books and enjoyed them, so I knew that I would probably enjoy this one too. I didn’t realize I would be so blown away by it. It is very much an ADULT book, not for the YA set. Her writing style transitions very well to adult contemporary romance. It was everything the genre should be. Like the previous reviewer, I enjoyed the fact that the female was standoffish and being chased by the male. It was not a light read; It deals with death, loss and some very destructive behavior. The way Ms. Young wove Joss’ conversations with her therapist into the story was very effective and a good technique. The relationship between Joss and Braden was perfectly choreographed, though a little focused on sex. I would have liked to see a little more of Braden’s emotions. I thought Joss’ character, emotions and reactions were well-written and very believable.

Samantha brings on the sexy with her first adult romance! Braden is wealthy, attractive, and has a tendency to be a bit of an overbearing ass. Joss is beautiful, sassy, and completely messed up emotionally. Together they make a couple who isn’t just hot, but also interesting. I love the way Samantha slowly reveals the details of their past, building her trust with the reader as Braden and Joss built their trust with each other. And the bedroom scenes… *fans self* Any doubts as to whether a YA writer could make an adult novel steamy enough have certainly been laid to rest!
