Serious knowledge for fruit lovers
Honestly, I was expecting more information about Goji Berries, Maca and other superfoods but to discover this wondrous book which spells out in detail all the incredible things regular fruit does for our bodies is a complete blessing. It is so easily known that we need lots of fruits and vegetables in our diets. Lately Weight Watchers has even stopped counting fruits as points and said eat as much to your heart’s content. This is a great book that reawakens our sleeping knowledge about such an important part of the universal diet. Everyone can learn something about fruits they eat regularly and those they might have overlooked which can become new and stunning favorites to add to their diet.

FRUIT – Yes Please!
This is a very well organized and informative book explaining what exactly are superfoods and why we need them. This book gives us an easy to understand detailed explanation about the nutritional value, health benefits, and the best ways to include these fruits in our diet. My favorite part is the health benefits. We already know that fruit is good for us, but with this book we learn why. With this knowledge I will certainly eat more fruit and live an even healthier lifestyle. I’m looking forward to the next books in the series. PATS

I’ve read all of Ms. Young’s YA books and enjoyed them, so I knew that I would probably enjoy this one too. I didn’t realize I would be so blown away by it. It is very much an ADULT book, not for the YA set. Her writing style transitions very well to adult contemporary romance. It was everything the genre should be. Like the previous reviewer, I enjoyed the fact that the female was standoffish and being chased by the male. It was not a light read; It deals with death, loss and some very destructive behavior. The way Ms. Young wove Joss’ conversations with her therapist into the story was very effective and a good technique. The relationship between Joss and Braden was perfectly choreographed, though a little focused on sex. I would have liked to see a little more of Braden’s emotions. I thought Joss’ character, emotions and reactions were well-written and very believable.

Hot and Compelling Romance
Samantha brings on the sexy with her first adult romance! Braden is wealthy, attractive, and has a tendency to be a bit of an overbearing ass. Joss is beautiful, sassy, and completely messed up emotionally. Together they make a couple who isn’t just hot, but also interesting. I love the way Samantha slowly reveals the details of their past, building her trust with the reader as Braden and Joss built their trust with each other. And the bedroom scenes… *fans self* Any doubts as to whether a YA writer could make an adult novel steamy enough have certainly been laid to rest!

A welcome difference in a bland world of writing June 30, 2009

This book made its way into my hands by chance(?), and I even read it unintentionally. I have never been religious, and so I naturally tend to stay away from titles that explore such topics, however, this obscure book has really taken a toll on my train of thought. As the author puts it, “The Dialogues of Adolph and Mavelia and other sketches was written in the spirit of literature and so intended to be interpretive to the adult Christian and Non-Christian reader alike”, and I representing the later, give this book its due praise, it is unlike any fiction title out there.
